Rich,

I find it quite amusing that my comment is called "No Comments" by your blog software. Also, at the bottom of the article it says that there are 0 comments. Must be a bug or two somewhere.

Rich,

Of course, this discussion would be only a sentence or two long if you use Time Machine in Mac OS 10.5, aka Leopard. Heck, you could even backup all your computers wirelessly in real time if you like. Again, Apple makes life easier for the rest of us. Cheers. :-)

I really like your site. Mainly because my wife and I will have our house paid off in about 2 years and our dream vacation would be to take a month and RV the country after the house is clear and free. I also like your site because it is kind of like my site, only without the RV part :)

Rich,
Just got your book and have been exploring your site. Looks wonderful, I am all about your digital Rv ideas. I have had alot of experience with macs and pcs over the years. I just built a super cutting edge gamer and really enjoy my xp system. But I long to get back to a Mac and have been pricing the new laptops. As a side note I still have my first Mac,a Mac SE30, it is almost 20 years old and it just sits on the shelf most of the time, but it still runs and the software still works, running system 7.01, Adobe Illustrator 3.0, Dark Castle, and Writenow. It has a 40 mb harddrive and 8 megs of ram, wow! But the really cool thing it that it still works, and at the time when I bought it,1989 it was a very cool machine. Not too many 20 year old pcs have that coolness factor like a 20 year old Mac.

When you record with the radio shark does it break up the music into seperate files? If not, check out the replay music software. Pretty slick in that it somehow analyzes the digital stream and breaks it up into seperate files, I used it with yahoos music service (ran it overnight and had 8 hrs of music) but maybe it would work with your xm rebroadcast method too?

Thanks for the info...that's a very cool option. I have had so much difficulty when it comes to downloading music for both my MP3 players. I have used both a Rio and iPod, as well as a variety of music managers (MusicMatch, Windows Media Player, iTunes). It seems there are always limitations with these devices and managers. I just keep trying different ones until I find a solution I can deal with. So, thank you for bringing the Radio Shark to my attention....I'm always down to try a new option. :)

Hey, I am not an RVer but I am a Virtual Assistant here in Prescott. I just finished an interview with Paula Williams, who mentioned that you are a friend of hers. I wanted to say hello! Paula says you might be interested in attending a Virtual Assistant Connection here in AZ. I know the next one is planned for September. Let me know if you would like more information.

Meanwhile the interview with Paula is here: http://blog.looseends.net/?p=205.

Nice to meet you.
